Reproductive years in a female is limited and Women who wish delay child birth due to social reasons may be advised to freeze their eggs for their own future use. Some women may wait for parenting till they find suitable partner. Historically, it was the case that husbands were usually older than their wives, but this trend is reducing in the present world. Freezing of eggs at an younger age result better success rate and have shown the same reproductive potential as ‘fresh’ eggs whereas, freezing them at an older age gives disappointing results. However, social’ egg freezing is not advised to women because they have other life goals and will ‘get around’ to motherhood when the time is right. They are warned of low success rate with such procedure.
