· Endometriosis is a condition where endometrial tissue grows outside of the uterus, may affect the function of the ovaries, uterus and fallopian tubes.

· Endometriosis is an often painful disorder.

· Endometriosis most commonly involves your ovaries, fallopian tubes and the tissue lining your pelvis.

How endometriosis causes Infertility?

With endometriosis, displaced endometrial tissue bleeds with each menstrual cycle.

Because this bleed has no way to exit your body, it becomes trapped.

When endometriosis involves the ovaries the surrounding tissue can become irritated, eventually developing scar tissue and adhesions .

Abnormal bands of fibrous tissue that can cause pelvic tissues and organs to stick to each other.

Fertility problems may develop due to the above reason . Fortunately, effective treatments are available
